NYPD Arrests Homeless Man And Puts Him In Body Bag

Thursday (December 20) afternoon in midtown New York City (57th street and 10th avenue) a handful of NYPD thugs stood around waiting for an ambulance to pick up a man they had arrested and then put into a bodybag. The bag covered the man´s entire body, except for his boots.

The man could be heard saying to the officers, “You´ve had me on the ground for an hour! I can´t get transported or nothing!? when you take this off my eyes, I´m taking everybody´s names and numbers!” In response, the officers just stood around laughing because they know, just as well as we all do, that NYPD officers can get away with almost any kind of mental, verbal, or physical abuse and violence against those they arrest.

When the ambulance finally arrived, the officers picked up the man, still in the bag, and roughly put him onto a stretcher. The ambulance took him away. It is thought that the man might be one of the neighborhood´s homeless people who often sit in front of stores in the area. It is not known by us what the situation was that led up to the arrest, or why the officers put the man into the bag. The fact that he was sent away in an ambulance, and not in a police car, is indicative that the man had health problems.

Whoa.. A blog post?!

So what I should probably do is delete this and start over. FRESH. Get some new energy up in here. But then I lose all of the past entries by some random chance of me forgetting about this blog… that would be regretful.

I haven’t blogged in a long time… let alone written anything. Forgive me for my rambling and my regretful grammatical errors. Here I go….

I graduated with my masters in psychology in June…. Six months ago. Crazy to think about. When I graduated I was still working a dispensary. Long story short, the dispensary stopped paying me and so I left. Soon after that my lease on my one bedroom apartment downtown ended. I was out of money and out of a job so I started staying on friends’ couches and sometimes at my parents place. THEN my car got stolen with a shit load of my possessions (ALL of my jewelry, my laptop, boxes of shoes and wardrobe). I was distraught. I was homeless, carless, jobless, manless, and just straight up depressed. A good friend of mine gave me a call and said that he would fly me out to Florida. One way ticket.

I guess that’s when the real adventure began. I flew to meet my friend in Maryland with a backpack, a large suitcase, and a backpack. We stayed in the area a few days for an interview he had to do in DC for his campaign (I’ll explain at another time). After a few days of the dreary northeast, we flew to Florida. My friend has a nice apartment in Fort Lauderdale so I landed there. I immediately began looking for gigs. The thing that sucks with pursuing something like modeling or acting is you need money… but you also need time for castings. When you get a job, you miss out on castings, when you don’t have a job, there are no castings or you can’t afford to get to them. It’s quite a conundrum. After a few days’ time, my friend decided that I needed to move on and figure out what I was going to do.

Off I went to South Beach. This part of my adventure I could write a book about. I won’t go into much detail now… but more posts about it will come. Anyways… I went to SoBe knowing nobody. I moved around from hostel to hostel. It was difficult to continue searching for an agent, shoot, and search for gigs when each day I had to find somewhere/something to eat, and another place to sleep. In the beginning I was fortunate enough to be able to afford a hotel room every once in a while. In fact, one day while at a hotel pool, my parents called to tell me that my car was found… with all of my stuff in it! I was so incredibly excited… but I continued my adventure.

I’m getting distracted; I shall continue the story up to present in the next day or so.
